.. at least for the time and money that it has taken me. Some would even say it's not a good deal at all :) Nevertheless, music plays very important role in my life. Composing new songs is a way to relax and put those mixed feelings to notes and melodies. There just are some things that are cooler than other things in life - music is one of those.
I started playing music 'officially' at the age of five with piano lessons. However, there are already some proof of much earlier talent with some instruments ;) I have never been quite keen on playing some traditional piano songs from the Aaron-songbook so the instruments kept on changing from keyboards, finally to my first electric guitar at the age of 11. I started composing already at the age of six and been doing it ever since. I went back to taking guitar lessons at a bit older age in a private Guitar & Music clinique that really got me going to the right direction and I learned to express myself with my own personal style.
Now, more than 20 years later, I have had the chance to experiment many different kinds of musical genres from rock to dance music, being involved in a musical theater for quite some time, learned to play all the basic rock-related instruments and still do a lot of composition work, while concentrating more to my newer interest - recording & mixing.
There have been numerous different band projects, some lasting longer than others. Therefore only some are listed on this page.
Feel free to listen to the music from these projects (more than 200 songs online)! Please note that only private listening use of these songs is allowed without permission!

Pland (formerly also known as Arctic Sound) was founded in March 2005. I found some new cool guys to play with: Gareth, Timka, Joni and Joni. The bass player-Joni had to move to Helsinki after summer and he was replaced by my friend Samuli who has been playing in many of my previous band projects too.
We play original English pop/rock songs with attitude. The band has been inactive since 2008.
Check out our first album: 'Things she said'!

SuperOrkesteri is an all-star project that was founded together with Jukka
Holm in 2003. The purpose was to gather excellent players and see where it
can take us.
The band hasn't been active for a year now because of the tight
schedule of the members and the future is unclear.
We had the chance to do our first demo in 2004 which is sang with two
different singers.

Kelkka is a very long term project that started in around mid 90s from just jamming with Aapo and Lassi.
After a while Karoliina joined us as a singer and No Station was founded. Later, she was replaced by Niko and the band changed the lyrics to Finnish language. Years later Jussi gave his helping hand to the keyboard section and joined Kelkka.
The band was playing actively until 2002. Niko is currently living somewhere in the eastern Finland but there is a slight chance that Kelkka will play something again, some day :) There was lots on unused potential in this band that I hope can be utilized at some point. Kelkka plays melodic rock/pop. Also under the music link you can find old No Station live recordings from the years 1998-1999.

Kaposet plays popular and traditional cover music. This band has also a very
long history with Samu, Aapo and Lassi. The line-up has been the same always.
Besides jamming and playing for fun, we also do some gigs e.g. in
weddings, company occations etc. Eventhough I have tried to concentrate in
making and playing originals it is fun to go out and play some covers for a
change :)

When I have spare time I do some compositions at home where I play all the
instruments myself. This has been a hobby of mine since I got my first
Fostex 4-track recorder around the age of 15.
Hundreds of song ideas have
been developed during the years and some of the more newer ones even ended
up in the net :) It's nice to try out some new ideas and make them to
'songs' just to see how they work. Later they can be produced with more
time and better equipment if necessary.
Don't mind the
crappy sound quality in some of the songs.
